Lance Roberts a Finalist for the Kyocera Best Technician in America Award
The Century Business Products’ service department continued their strong run at the annual national Kyocera Service Award competition with another first place finish at the Midwest Regional competition in Chicago. Congratulations to Lance Roberts, who will now compete for the title of Best Technician in America!
After a nationwide competition this fall, five Kyocera technicians qualified from the Midwest to compete for the regional title and a chance to compete for the national title in December. Qualifiers were given written, oral and hands on exams as Kyocera engineers tested their technical ability, accuracy, and problem solving skills.
Lance will now travel to Dallas to compete against four other regional winners on December 13. The winner will receive a cash prize and an all expenses paid trip to Japan & China to visit Kyocera facilities and other tourist destinations.
Century Business Products already has two former National Service Award winners. Todd Gordon is the reigning 2012 Best Technician in America and Craig Doeden took home the national title back in 2009.
Good luck, Lance!
