I needed a product that was easy to deploy on the network and manage across entire fleet. Implementation of devices across the school system took less than two days, the Century team did an amazing job.

Brown Law Firm P.C. was looking for a streamlined process of getting documents into our current file folder structure on our server. We were using a Ricoh 2020D for copying and printing and a small multi-function MFP to scan our documents in which was a slow, drawn-out process.
Century Business Products proposed replacing both the Ricoh 2020D and the small multi-function MFP with a Kyocera TASKalfa 3500i along with DMS Link, a low cost but extremely effective document management system that worked directly with the Kyocera MFP and connected with our current file folder structure on our server.
Century Business Products delivered, set up and trained in a couple of hours and everything worked as promised. We now know that with the help of Century Business Products and the solutions they provided, our office processes will be more streamlined now and in the future as we continue to grow.

Century Business Products visited with Dakota Vision to determine our current expenses associated with an aging printer fleet. Our business printing was being done on two HP 2055 printers and a HP 2605 color printer. Century performed a 30-day study and it was determined our expense with our current products was approximately $231.00 per month, that was for supplies only.
This information was very helpful with our decision to replace our current products with a new multi-functional machine with increased speeds. We were able to streamline our business process with the scanning and network faxing features included with the products, this new technology has helped our business become more efficient. We decided to replace the printers as well and were able to stay within the expenses we had been paying with our older equipment. The products provided by Century are covered completely by a maintenance contract to include the service and toner on all products. There are no worries or hassles; one call to Century does it all.

We were using a Sharp AR-M207 black and white copier and a Savin CLP 131dn color printer. Our lease on the Sharp was up, so we owned the machine but we noticed a significant increase in our maintenance costs.
We purchased a Kyocera TaskAlfa 3050Ci from Century Business Products. We are planning to return the leased printer at the end of the year but will keep the Sharp that we own as a backup. We appreciated the time our Century sales rep took to learn about our needs and explain the features and differences between all of the models we were looking at. We are looking forward to having more functionality on our new 3050ci like USB printing and faster print and copy speeds. Plus Century will provide us with free training for the life of our machine and all at a lower cost than any of the other bids that we had received.

We couldn’t believe the time our employees were spending looking for low cost toner and also the wasted space associated with storing multiple cartridges for our aging fleet of HP printers. We had an old copier from another supplier that was having more maintenance issues and was causing stress with employees when trying to make copies.
We had visited with Century Business Products and decided to do a no cost analysis to find our printing cost and to see if there was a better way to increase efficiencies within our business. The analysis revealed an expense to our company of nearly $400.00 a month. Considerably more than we had thought, this didn’t factor in the cost of our employees calling around to find the best price on toner, trying to find service for the printers when there was a problem and also the down time while waiting for service from our previous vendor to show up to fix our aging copier.
Century Business Products proposed replacing the printers and copier with new products at a much lower cost than analyzed and provided one unified toner cartridge, more reliability, more speed, a low cost of operation and ease of operation for printing or copying. It was nice to have them come in and set everything up on the day of delivery. When Century left everything was networked and operating as promised.
It is nice to know our exact monthly expenses associated with printing in our business environment. It is also nice to know everything is covered from top to bottom on our products including toner. If there is an issue or questions with our products we make one call to Century and everything is handled in a very timely matter.

Year after year our schools are continually asked to do more with less, that’s why the Madison Central School District has partnered with Century Business Products. After studying their print environment, it became clear that the costs of printing was larger than anyone imagined. On top of that, mid-high volume printers were doing low volumes while low volume printers were struggling under the weight of excessive volumes. And when it came to the Multi-Functional Devices, their current vendor had disappointed them with their level of service. After replacing their existing HP fleet with Kyocera Printers and MFD’s not only did they find the costs were dramatically reduced but nagging issues like Print Driver/OS Compatibility disappeared overnight. And worrying about machine uptime is a thing of the past.
Document Output was now improved and streamlined, but when working together we found several issues with Document Storage. The school had to cut back some administrative positions due to budget cuts, and because of this the district once again had to do more with less. Student records were the biggest question mark. Records for all students are housed in one building, meaning the elementary school did not have access to all documents. Student Registration day would take several weeks to file all the documents with the normal staff levels! Not to mention the amount of time looking for that one medical release form, or the name of an approved family member to pick up a child. With Smart Search the district has reduced the cycle time it takes to file and retrieve student records. Using Barcodes at registration day they are automatically populating index fields drastically reducing the time it takes to file documents.

Century was flexible with us, especially as our construction schedule shifted a little bit, to make sure that we had the equipment installed before our team members got here so that there wasn’t any interruption of our business.
The whole process went flawlessly. The team at Century did a great job installing everything on time. They really did a great job communicating with us through the process, getting us all set up, and when our team members showed up the first day, they didn’t know any different because of the great job Century did.
We at Maguire have been using Century for a long time now and have always had a great experience. They’re fair with their pricing and services. So, when we decided to do this new campus, it was a no brainer for us to continue to use Century for all of our copier and printer needs.

Century came up with the best solution for us ten years ago and they have continued to meet all of our needs. Every aspect of our services, including our print images, celebrate life and honor memories and must always be of exceptional quality that we and our families are proud of. Their maintenance contracts are a very practical solution, it is beneficial to have a true understanding of our costs and we never worry about service, parts, or repairs, everything we need is included.

NuWay Cooperative took an initiative to go paperless three years ago and, with the help of Century Business Products, was able to obtain this goal.
NuWay purchased Kodak ScanMate i1120 Scanners for all Admin, Sales, and Operations employees. Everyone was equipped with the same setup which allowed the process to be more efficient. NuWay uses Quick Capture software with the ScanMate Scanner’s to process all of its daily needs for data entry and storage of documents. This system enables all employees to have access to any documents through a web-based filing cabinet. NuWay is currently day to day with all activities which allows more efficient buying, selling and promotes clearer communication among the entire company. The products from Century Business have allowed NuWay to obtain the paperless initiative and we look forward to continued improvement in our process.

The minute you pick up the phone, they answer, and take care of your problems right away. Our copier being down is a thing of the past. Being able to rely on somebody when you’re in a hurry is cost effective to every business.
We would recommend Century because you get the quality and the quantity that you’re looking for. When you’re in a hurry and the quantity of dealing with kiddos in our world, you have to be fast and you have to have your stuff in front of you.
The last thing you want to do is purchase something with your budget moneys, and then have to repurchase it again in a short amount of time. We get our longevity out of investing our moneys with Century Business.

The Ohiya Casino and Resort was closed for six days due to the major flood event that affected most of Nebraska. During this time our business lost power several times causing our business server to go down. Once power was restored we were unable to send or receive emails. Unable to resolve this issue ourselves we called Catalyst IT and your team (almost immediately) got to work coming up with a plan to most conveniently and cost effectively resolve this issue. Once work began our business was able to receive and send emails that same day.
