NOTES:
- Empty black toner bottle becomes new waste cartridge, do not throw it away!
- Recycle empty color toner bottles, place in provided plastic bag inside new toner box.
- Leave the machine on while replacing the toner, or your current print job will be lost.
- Dispose of full waste cartridge, do not recycle it as it contains waste.
- Individual toner doors WILL NOT OPEN until toner is completely empty.

Instructions:
- The top/scanning unit of the device must lift all the way back.
- If your device is against a wall, you must slide it forward or rotate it and then open the top all the way back.
- The new toner should slide in and click into place nicely. If it doesn’t, it is not in correctly.
- DO NOT slam the lid shut–you should be able to shut the lid only using two fingers of pressure.
- Only replace toner when it is completely empty and the latch unlocks in an upright position. The latch is to protect against wasted toner.

NOTES:

Ordering Toner or Scheduling Service

If your device is under a maintenance agreement, toner is most likely included. This means you should not order toner from a third-party.

Genuine Toner vs Off-Brand Toner

Kyocera devices are specifically designed for Kyocera OEM toner. Using off-brand toner can damage your device (voiding maintenance) or print incorrectly.
Using genuine Kyocera toner will help your device last longer over time.
BEWARE TONER PIRATES
What are toner pirates?
Pirates call businesses claiming to be their copier supply company or claiming to be Century Business Products.
They will get your contact information, ask about your current equipment, and quiz you about your current servicing company.
Later, they will call back & use that information against you, informing you that toner prices are going up, smoothly coaxing you into ordering toner from them at a low price.
HOWEVER, they will send you low quality cartridges for up to 5x the price of your typical toner.

IF YOU GET A CALL
– BE AWARE. Century will never call you to say toner prices are going up.
– CHECK YOUR CONTRACT. Toner is included in most maintenance contracts.
IF YOU GET A DELIVERY
– REFUSE the shipment and DO NOT pay the invoice.
– NOTIFY SENDER you intend on keeping the shipment as a gift unless they arrange for pickup of the toner at their own cost.
